Book Video for The Fiend of White Buck Hall

video

I spent the past few days putting together a book video for The Fiend of White Buck Hall. I bought several stock photos from iStockphoto, but as usual I had several photos of my own to use. The mansion in the video is Batso. The park scenes are from Thompson Park.

In fact, the initial idea for The Fiend of White Buck Hall came from a walk in the park one evening at dusk. We heard and saw an owl in a tree high above us. Then Daughter #2 swore she heard a deer stamping the ground behind us.

I did not see a deer, but it was getting a bit creepy. So we hurried out of there as quickly as we could. The park ranger was waiting by our car. :^)

You can find the book at http://www.newconceptspublishing.com. Currently, it is only available in digital form.

Now available for the Kindle!

My Crescent Moon Press books, Irons in the Fire, and The Company You Keep are now available for Amazon's Kindle reader at the wonderfully enticing price of $9.99 each!

I'm still using my trusty eBookwise to read e-books, but now that my books can be downloaded into a Kindle, I am truly tempted to treat myself to a new gadget. (You may have guessed if you read this blog that I love new gadgets.) I've been a devoted fan of e-books since I first held a Rocket e-book reader in my hands at a New Jersey Romance Writers meeting. I knew then that technology had the power to transform the reading experience.

And I was right!

However, it took the Kindle to change the public's view of e-books, though some folks are still not convinced. There are those who believe books are made of paper and nothing else will satisfy them. That's okay. I still read and own plenty of paper books, too. For me a story is a story whether it's printed on paper, digitized on a screen, or offered in audio form.

But e-books offer many advantages--and lower prices are one of those perks.

I hope you'll check out my latest Kindle books at Amazon!
